I can't help but be curious about Kitana, I got confused about whether she does have a tail, or if it's just a really long ponytail.
If it's a tail, is it just for decoration?

It's a tail and it's not for decoration XD It's a mechanical wolf tail that's connected to her spine because when she was younger,she had injured her back.It was hard for her to walk and keep her balance.Long story short,she had a mechanical wolf tail attached to her spine to help her walk/keep her balance.So if somebody were to step on it,it would cause her a lot of pain and she would become paralyzed for a few minutes :I
